Circle has launched Arc as a public Layer 1 blockchain “purpose-built for stablecoins, mainly USDC”. The Arc architecture aims to address limitations of existing blockchains.
Existing chains are handling large-scale stable-coin-native applications (payments, FX, tokenized assets). These chains are fragmented. So is liquidity. So, there is a need to have infrastructure tailored to those use cases. Read more about Arc here.
In this article, we will see how to interact with the Arc testnet. Why? Because Arc might launch a token, and there might be an airdrop. There is no confirmation yet. But it does not hurt to try, right?
Moreover, it is completely FREE, other than 15 minutes of your time. What do you need?
- A Metamask wallet.
- 15 minutes of your time.
Add Arc Testnet
Go to https://testnet.arcscan.app/
Scroll down and find the Add Arc Testnet button.
Connect your Metamask wallet.
If you can not find the button, here is the info to add a custom network.
Now, you can get some testnet tokens to play with.
Go to https://faucet.circle.com/
Paste your wallet’s public address and get 10 USDC and 10 EURC.
Please note that this USDC has NO value. It is a testnet token.
Claim a Domain and Create an NFT Collection
Next, let’s claim a lifetime domain name from Infinity Names.
Go to https://infinityname.com/
Connect your wallet.
Get a name you want on the Arc testnet. It will cost you 1 USDC.
Then go to https://omnihub.xyz/create
Omnihub is a platform you can use to create NFT collections.
Select Arc Testnet.
Upload a random image, and deploy your NFT.

Deploy a Smart Contract
Go to https://zkcodex.com/
Click on GM Streak on the top right.
Send a GM on the testnet.
Then head to https://zkcodex.com/onchain/deploy
Click on Arc testnet. It might be your current network.
It will prompt you to deploy a smart contract. Deploy and confirm the transaction.
That’s it. You have interacted with the Arc testnet.
