Crypto advocacy group, Stand With Crypto, has slated a Crypto Day of Action for August 14 to flaunt the power of the crypto-affiliated voter base. The event will feature a massive online campaign by crypto enthusiasts to draw attention to the need for well-grounded policies that will promote crypto innovation in the US.
Crypto Voters Prepare To Make A Statement on August 14
Stand With Crypto has continued playing a pivotal role in mobilizing crypto owners into a formidable force with a stronger voice since its creation in 2023. The Coinbase-backed advocacy group now seeks to lead crypto voters in a rally that will put crypto policy in the spotlight by drawing the attention of lawmakers, policymakers, and everyone that matters.
The Crypto Day of Action will also commemorate the organization’s second anniversary of pooling together advocates to influence pro-crypto legislation in the US. This comes exactly one month from the US House of Representatives’ Crypto Week, whose emphasis was also on the way forward for crypto policy.
“To commemorate this anniversary, the progress we’ve secured, and the work ahead, crypto advocates from across the country are uniting to participate in a Crypto Day of Action,” said the group.
“Together, we are making sure crypto voters’ voices are being heard and encouraging lawmakers in Washington, D.C. to prioritize common-sense policies that will allow crypto to thrive long into the future.”
Mammoth Online Campaign to Draw Attention To Crypto Policy
Stand With Crypto has scheduled a mega livestream on X that will run throughout the day for the event, and calls on all crypto advocates to be part of this first-of-its-kind rally. Crypto enthusiasts will also reach out to their representatives in Congress en masse via email, informing them about the need for “common-sense pro-crypto policies.”
Crypto faithful will also rally their social network to be part of the campaign and spread the word about beneficial legislation for the industry. This will involve updating their X profiles with a custom banner and other elements specifically meant for the event.
Stand With Crypto’s event is significant because the group contributes immensely to the crypto policy trajectory of the US by educating and empowering crypto owners to contact their lawmakers. Its affiliated super PAC (Political Action Committee) helped sponsor the races of select pro-crypto politicians from both sides of the US political divide, some of which were successful.
Its platform actively advocates for innovation-friendly crypto regulation in Congress, while keeping tabs on lawmakers’ and agency leaders’ stances on crypto regulation, pending subsequent election cycles.
