Biget, the world’s largest Universal Exchange (UEX), has announced this week its annual team-up with Google Developer Group on Campus (GDGoC) ETH Zurich, a university-based community group. The partnership is part of its Blockchain4Youth educational initiative to empower student skills development in Web3 and artificial intelligence (AI).

According to Bitget, the collaboration aims to keep students up to date with new technologies. The crypto exchange platform’s contribution to the initiative centers on sharing its Web3 expertise through panel discussions and practical activities. It also unlocks access to the Graduate Program, allowing interested participants to gain hands-on experience in the field.
Ignatio Aguirre, Chief Marketing Officer of Bitget, highlighted that education plays a key role in the evolution of Web3. He stated that the program with the Google Developer Group (GDG) displays their joint commitment to innovation and education.
Aguirre believes the long-term partnership with the Google Developer Group will make a tangible difference in the industry. In addition to facilitating knowledge and technology transfer, it helps nurture future builders.
Bitget’s cooperation with GDG began earlier this year. It involved event sponsorships, including hackathons and developer activities. Dario Monopoli, Lead of GDG on Campus Zurich, said that the partnership with the crypto trading platform exceeds sponsorships; it also focuses on providing real-world insights. It goes beyond theory by offering hands-on skills in algorithmic trading and blockchain infrastructure.

GDG’s Zurich chapter was established in 2020 for students of ETH Zurich, a top university founded in 1855 that specializes in science, technology, and engineering.
